Our story has roots in Nottingham, England when, in 2005, our founder was reading his Bible and, although it wasn’t the first time encountering Jeremiah 29:11, it was, however, the first time it resonated in a very profound and personal way. The words spoke directly to his heart: "Wow, is that what God thinks of me? I must be God’s Favorite!" This moment was the spark that ignited the idea behind God's Favorite Clothing.

Reflecting on this experience, our founder began to wonder if others had felt similarly after reading such a powerful scripture. This led to a desire to share that sense of being uniquely cherished by God—a reminder that this is how God sees each of us.

A few days later, while browsing in Victoria Shopping Center in Nottingham, he found a pair of jeans in a store that was closing down. Focused only on the size, he immediately picked up the jeans and joined the line to pay.

However, upon closer inspection, he noticed that the Jeans had a brand name that did not align with his Faith.

Despite the tempting sale price, he decided to not make the purchase.

On the way home, he could not help but wonder how anyone thought this would be a great name for a brand and realized that there must be a market for such things. That thought led to an epiphany: if there was room for such brands, why not create something that celebrates faith? And with that, God's Favorite Clothing was born - a brand inspired by faith, meant to remind everyone that they, too, are God’s Favorite.
